I was here for 2 nights as a solo traveler, and honestly, the King Room was super comfy. The restaurant was a surprise hit—guy, you gotta try it! The casino was just okay, could've used a tidy up. Pool options rocked too! Wish the slot machines were cleaner, tho.

We had a fun-filled family weekend exploring the casino and enjoying the fantastic dining options. The slot machines were plentiful, and my kids loved the excitement of the games. The staff, especially Matt, were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could use more family-oriented features, like slides or shallow sections for younger kids.

The breakfast at The Gatsby was a highlight, with excellent portions and cheerful service. However, the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, which made getting ready a challenge. Despite some inconveniences, the staff's friendliness stood out and made my stay enjoyable.

the location of mountaineer casino resort is great, and parking was easy since the area is quiet. the spa staff were very friendly, and i really enjoyed my time at the mahogany bar & grill, where the food and service were both excellent. also, i loved using the indoor and outdoor pools for relaxation after a night of fun.
